THE RECIPE FOR QUALITY ACCORDING TO NATEEO

Passion, customers, quality, innovation and people: we have always carefully cultivated the seed of each value.

The value of quality translates into a careful, rigorous and measurable approach that embraces the entire product chain. The certification processes we adopt, together with the multiple analysis activities conducted in our group laboratory and at numerous external laboratories of European scope, allow us to guarantee safety, reliability and total transparency towards all stakeholders, consolidating trust and promoting constant evolution.

To explore the meaning of this value, we interviewed Antonella Paiusco, Nateeo’s Quality Assurance Manager, who with her vast experience spoke to us about this value from a fresh perspective.

Antonella, quality is expressed in the correspondence between customer expectations and the product/service. It is a matter of following rules and standards to meet multiple requirements and it is a great challenge because, in addition to certifications and product quality, all relationships have to be considered, from commercial ones to those with suppliers and manufacturers. As you go about your work, how do you live this commitment?

‘Quality is one of the five company values and is the driving force behind everything we do: from the selection of suppliers to the strict controls on raw materials and the products we offer.
At Nateeo, we are committed to ensuring that customers can count on us not only as a reliable supplier with high quality standards, but also as a partner ready to respond to their needs and facilitate their business.Product warranties and quality and food safety certifications are now essential to start a supply relationship; however, what really makes the difference is the ability to establish a relationship of trust, transforming the supplier-customer relationship into a true partnership.

Dialogue with our partners allows us to create solid and constructive relationships, helping to increase the value of our products beyond quality itself’.

What are the next certifications you are aiming for?

‘To date, Nateeo has achieved three system certifications related to food quality and safety in the food and feed sectors, six product certifications, and two certifications for sustainable supply chains. On the sustainability front, the company pays particular attention to measuring its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance, actively participating in internationally renowned rating platforms such as Ecovadis, CDP Portal, and SI Rating. Furthermore, it is a member of SEDEX, a non-profit organisation dedicated to sustainability in supply chains.

Our next goals include obtaining ISO 14001, for environmental management, and ISO 45001, for occupational health and safety, which we aim to achieve by early 2025. These initiatives underline our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and the strengthening of ESG principles within our organisation’.

Quality is now considered a prerequisite. This is also the case at Nateeo, but it is also much more, when quality becomes a quest for excellence and the ability to nurture relationships of trust that last over time. For Antonella, the recipe for giving more value to quality is also this!
